¡
Sir,
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of
your telegram of the 8th June, which decoded was as follows:-
"Swiss Minister represents that correspondence between Liebermann Walchli of Zurich and Japanese customers have been delayed and enquires whether it has been detained by Censor. Firm not on Black List".
to which I replied today as follows:-
*Your telegram June 8th correspondence has not
been detained by Censor".
2.
The firm of Liebermann Walchli of Zurich was on the general Black List and the Customs Black List. On the 3rd May the Cable Censor telegraphed to the Chief Censor about one of their telegrama, and received instructions to pass it. Since then he has stopped none. No letters to or from the firm have been stopped and the Postal Censor cannot remember having seen
any.
3.
Particulars of all stopped telegrams are sent to
the Chief Censor in London.
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE
ANDREW BONAR LAW, M.P.,

I have the honour to be, Sir.
Your most obedient, humble servant,
Governor,&c..
